Assessing the residual structural performance of deteriorated pre-tensioned concrete (PC) beams requires proper modeling of materials' constitutive relationships. Bond plays a key role in governing the shear and bending resistance of PC members since corrosion deterioration can lead to an increase in transfer and anchorage lengths and a diminishing of effective prestress. Besides, a lack of data can be observed in the literature since experimental campaigns are time-consuming and difficult to perform, especially concerning the estimation of the anchorage length. In this contribution, a review of the most recent literature on this topic is carried out, and possible solutions to address the problem of measuring and modeling bond in PC members are presented.

Abstract
Assessing the residual structural performance of deteriorated pre-tensioned concrete (PC) beams requires proper modeling of materials' constitutive relationships. Bond plays a key role in governing the shear and bending resistance of PC members since corrosion deterioration can lead to an increase in transfer and anchorage lengths and a diminishing of effective prestress. Besides, a lack of data can be observed in the literature since experimental campaigns are time-consuming and difficult to perform, especially concerning the estimation of the anchorage length. In this contribution, a review of the most recent literature on this topic is carried out, and possible solutions to address the problem of measuring and modeling bond in PC members are presented.Pubblicazioni consigliate
