Abstract
The aim of this paper is to provide an overview of the robots designed at the University of Padua. Most of the robot were designed to work in the Middle-Size League of the RoboCup Competitions. In this paper we detail the insights we had designing so many robots and the new way of looking at om- nidirectional vision we developed. Omnidirectional vision is not only a powerful sensor, but linked to a careful body de- sign and an omnidirectional drive can realise a much more reactive machine, able to sense and act in real time, with- out any time delay due to limits of the sensory horizon or to constraints of the motion drive.File in questo prodotto:
