This paper presents some preliminary works in the integra- tion of a mobile robot with a brain computer interface system. In this project we aim at investigating two main issues: (i) whether a physical robot can improve the subject BCI experience and then stimulate stronger brain signals; (ii) whether a remote robot controlled by a highly paralyzed patient via a BCI through the Internet and that can stream its audio and visual perceptions to the patients can also convey to the patient the feeling of a tele-presence. Preliminary experiments and implementation issues are presented in this paper.

Abstract
This paper presents some preliminary works in the integra- tion of a mobile robot with a brain computer interface system. In this project we aim at investigating two main issues: (i) whether a physical robot can improve the subject BCI experience and then stimulate stronger brain signals; (ii) whether a remote robot controlled by a highly paralyzed patient via a BCI through the Internet and that can stream its audio and visual perceptions to the patients can also convey to the patient the feeling of a tele-presence. Preliminary experiments and implementation issues are presented in this paper.File in questo prodotto:
