Within the WP2 of the ETH-TECH project, an Awareness Raising Session focused on the analysis of syllabi's contents about the ethics of AI and data was carried out in Italy. This contribution is the report generated after the session. It describes an online session with university faculty members from Northeastern Italy, focused on integrating the EU ethical guidelines on artificial intelligence into academic curricula. Participants from diverse academic backgrounds engaged in a reflection on AI ethics in European education, with particular attention to the practical implementation of ethical principles in the training of educators and teachers. There was broad consensus on the importance and urgency of introducing AI and data ethics into educational programs. The discussions raised new questions, especially regarding both ethical and unethical uses of AI, highlighting the concern that ethics may be missing from the very foundation of the educational process. Abstract
