The article takes the occasion from the recent critical edition of Franco Sacchetti’s Trecentonovelle by Michelangelo Zaccarello, and by ongoing researches by other scholars, including the author himself, to subject the manuscript B, copied on behalf of Vincenzo Borghini, to further analysis, both proving right some of his lessons so far unrecognized, and rejecting with positive arguments many emendations proposed by the predecessors, and advancing new proposals for emendations to other places of the Trecentonovelle.
