Abstract
From the time of Japonisme and of the so-called chinoiseries that in the late Nineteenth century filled the bourgeois salons, the relations between Chinese and European culture – mainly conveyed by aesthetic forms and artistic experiences – have been transformed and increased. Experiences and ideas such as creativity, imitation, artistic intention, or those of breath, energy (qi), or impermanence, gave rise to interweaves that sometimes revealed themselves as profound, sometimes as superficial, but that in any case were fruitful in building up the possibility of an intercultural dialogue in continuous evolution.File in questo prodotto:
