Abstract

Spirituality and religiosity are important aspects of an individual’s psychology, but ůŝƩůĞ is known about this dimension in people ƐƵīĞrŝnŐ from Asperger syndrome, and research on its rĞůĂƟŽnƐŚŝƉ with work experience is rare. The main ŽbũĞcƟǀĞ of this qualiƚĂƟǀĞ study is to report how 12 people ƐƵīĞrŝnŐ from Asperger syndrome perceived their current or past jobs, focusing on the role of spirituality and religiosity, fear of death, and research with colleagues. Although a larger percentage of partecipants are of the opinion that death means absolute annihilation only a few have faith in a transcendental dimension. However, the highest number of questions was recorded for concerns derived from relational difficulties with colleagues, while concerns regarding spirituality and religiosity were substantially negligible.
