We demonstrated the suitability of low-energy accelerators to SEU testing as an inexpensive alternative to high-energy beams, which are more difficult to access and use. We showed that low-LET particles, such as 2-MeV protons, permit to study several radiation effects, from single events to total dose effects, using a single low-cost, high beam current facility.

Abstract
We demonstrated the suitability of low-energy accelerators to SEU testing as an inexpensive alternative to high-energy beams, which are more difficult to access and use. We showed that low-LET particles, such as 2-MeV protons, permit to study several radiation effects, from single events to total dose effects, using a single low-cost, high beam current facility.File in questo prodotto:
