Rofecoxib and celecoxib have been reported previously to be effective in the treatment of other indomethacin-responsive headache disorders, such as hemicrania continua and idiopathic stabbing headache, without significant side-effects. We report two clinical observations in which the use of these drugs as a possible therapeutic option for the treatment of chronic paroxysmal hemicrania.
