Abstract
In order to supply warning discharge lamps installed atop towers, the insulation of ground wires in HV and EHV can be used. The paper describes a simplified yet efficient matrix procedure which allows both to compute the capacitive induced voltages and to determine the equivalent circuit supplying such non-linear loads. In addition, the waveform of the conduction currents and voltages and the average power on the lamps are determined by a fast analytical procedure. The analytical results have been compared with laboratory experimental results giving a really good agreement.File in questo prodotto:
