The paper presents a measurement system for the evaluation of the electromagnetic emissions radiated by printed circuit boards (PCB) in the near-field region. The proposed system is optimized in order to allow an user to accurately compare two or more electronic circuits in terms of electromagnetic emissions. Besides, it allows an electronic designer to quickly determine how much a design solution can be effective for the reduction of electromagnetic field radiated levels. Therefore, it can be exploited both at the design level on a prototype, and at a pre-compliance level, where it becomes essential verifying in advance the effectiveness of a given design solution.

Abstract
The paper presents a measurement system for the evaluation of the electromagnetic emissions radiated by printed circuit boards (PCB) in the near-field region. The proposed system is optimized in order to allow an user to accurately compare two or more electronic circuits in terms of electromagnetic emissions. Besides, it allows an electronic designer to quickly determine how much a design solution can be effective for the reduction of electromagnetic field radiated levels. Therefore, it can be exploited both at the design level on a prototype, and at a pre-compliance level, where it becomes essential verifying in advance the effectiveness of a given design solution.Pubblicazioni consigliate
