Abstract
In this paper an algorithm which allows voltage regulation in distribution systems with dispersed generation under the constraint of minimum losses variation is developed. The target is obtained by suitably co-ordinating and addressing the reactive support of the dispersed generators; the procedure determines, according to the load condition, the required reactive production for each embedded generator in order to keep the network voltage profile inside a permitted range. This procedure can be used for implementing “intelligent” controller devices for the future distribution systems.
