Musculoskeletal oncology remains a broad and evolving field. This is largely because its management requires a highly multidisciplinary approach, perhaps more so than in many other areas of orthopaedic surgery. Recent advances in surgical techniques have improved functional outcomes and oncologic control. At the same time, emerging technologies, as in other areas of orthopaedic surgery, are playing an increasingly important role and are influencing surgical progress, functional outcomes, and prognosis. Recent advances in musculoskeletal tumor surgery are also closely linked to developments in systemic therapy, immunotherapy, and imaging. In this article, we briefly review selected recent developments in the treatment of bone tumors, soft-tissue sarcomas, and metastatic bone disease.

Abstract
In this article, we briefly review selected recent developments in the treatment of bone tumors, soft-tissue sarcomas, and metastatic bone disease.Pubblicazioni consigliate
