A book entitled International Investment Law and Comparative Public Law should cause great excitement for readers of a comparative law journal. Comparative law is at the same time a methodology and an autonomous discipline, but comparative lawyers have often perceived a sense of loneliness and isolation from other legal scholars and practitioners. In parallel, because of the peculiar nature of their discipline, comparative lawyers look after exploring and mapping new interfaces between legal orders. Against this background, the book under review promises to bring new ground to the fore of legal inquiry, bridging the gap between two legal disciplines: international investment law and comparative public law.

Abstract
A book entitled International Investment Law and Comparative Public Law should cause great excitement for readers of a comparative law journal. Comparative law is at the same time a methodology and an autonomous discipline, but comparative lawyers have often perceived a sense of loneliness and isolation from other legal scholars and practitioners. In parallel, because of the peculiar nature of their discipline, comparative lawyers look after exploring and mapping new interfaces between legal orders. Against this background, the book under review promises to bring new ground to the fore of legal inquiry, bridging the gap between two legal disciplines: international investment law and comparative public law.Pubblicazioni consigliate
