The aim of this article is to examine how work practices have changed among individuals involved in knowledge transfer (KT) within public organiza-tions operating in hybrid work (HW) contexts. An exploratory approach was used to conduct an empirical survey among employees at the University of Salerno to understand the types of knowledge transfer practices embedded during hybrid work. The analysis shows that for each phase of the SECI model, new KT practices were identified for public employees in hybrid work, broken down by technology and mechanism (kTransfer technology and kTransfer mechanism). Interviews also revealed that in-person work is less important in the initial stages of a job when one has consolidated knowledge of the task, and that working from home is facilitated by all available interaction tools, such as messaging and calls.

Abstract
The aim of this article is to examine how work practices have changed among individuals involved in knowledge transfer (KT) within public organiza-tions operating in hybrid work (HW) contexts. An exploratory approach was used to conduct an empirical survey among employees at the University of Salerno to understand the types of knowledge transfer practices embedded during hybrid work. The analysis shows that for each phase of the SECI model, new KT practices were identified for public employees in hybrid work, broken down by technology and mechanism (kTransfer technology and kTransfer mechanism). Interviews also revealed that in-person work is less important in the initial stages of a job when one has consolidated knowledge of the task, and that working from home is facilitated by all available interaction tools, such as messaging and calls.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
