The ethics of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is an inherently multidisciplinary field of research aimed at investigating the axiological implications associated with the development and use of intelligent systems. This perspective focuses, on the one hand, on the ways in which AI can operate in accordance with ethical criteria and, on the other, on the design guidelines necessary to ensure that such systems respect the fundamental principles and values of the human condition. However, the question of the most appropriate ethical approach to guide this reflection remains unresolved: among the options considered are the virtue ethics paradigm, the consequentialist paradigm, and the deontological approach. These conceptual distinctions form the core theme of this contribution, starting from the assumption that AI ethics is largely analogous to the reflections traditionally developed in the field of interpersonal relations. From this perspective, it can be traced back to at least three fundamental interpretative guidelines: the tetico-regulatory approach, the zetetic-problematic approach, and, finally, the maieutic-Socratic approach.

Abstract
From this perspective, it can be traced back to at least three fundamental interpretative guidelines: the tetico-regulatory approach, the zetetic-problematic approach, and, finally, the maieutic-Socratic approach.Pubblicazioni consigliate
