Abstract
A 67-year-old man, with no history of neuromuscular disorders, came for evaluation of progressive weakness in his left arm. [18F]FDG PET-MRI highlights the presence of a moderate hypometabolism localized at the right precentral gyrus, suggesting a selective degeneration of neurons of the primary motor area. Final diagnosis was amyotrophic lateral sclerosis with additional features, consistent with ALS-plus syndrome.File in questo prodotto:
