Micro, Meso, and Macro Actions for an Inclusive and Sustainable Career Future

This chapter overviews the barriers and difculties related to career development and work inclusion experienced by individuals with disabilities and vulnerabilities. It also describes actions at a micro-, meso-, and macrolevel that career professionals can carry out to promote the design of a career future by people with disabilities and vulnerabilities, based on the recent directions of Life Design and positive psychology. In particular, on a microlevel, examples of career interventions for people with vulnerabilities and disabilities are described; on meso- and macrolevels, additional social advocacy activities are described so that different training, social, and professional contexts allow everyone a quality professional life.
