The chapter discusses to what extent the decision-making process related to knowledge sharing and creation provides equal decision-making power and agency to the different dialogical actors at the local level. It provides a roadmap on how to develop and to use co-creative planning tools to critically reflect on what is needed for successful implementation and identifies and discusses six prerequisites to successfully implement tools for co-creation and actual shift in power. It also presente six prerequisites that can serve as a compass to focus on the actual knowledge coproduction dynamics, and it links them to a wider framework by defining four principles of knowledge co-production.
