This study investigates the evolution of governance structures in regenerative supply chains, addressing a critical gap in supply chain literature regarding how governance transitions occur over time. Using a longitudinal case study of an Italian sports equipment manufacturer engaged in a regenerative recycling network, the research examines the shift from centralized to shared governance. Findings reveal that this transition is not linear but marked by fluctuations driven by specific mechanisms, events, and performance outcomes. The study offers novel insights into the dynamic and iterative nature of governance in sustainable and regenerative supply chains, with implications for both theory and practice.

Abstract
This study investigates the evolution of governance structures in regenerative supply chains, addressing a critical gap in supply chain literature regarding how governance transitions occur over time. Using a longitudinal case study of an Italian sports equipment manufacturer engaged in a regenerative recycling network, the research examines the shift from centralized to shared governance. Findings reveal that this transition is not linear but marked by fluctuations driven by specific mechanisms, events, and performance outcomes. The study offers novel insights into the dynamic and iterative nature of governance in sustainable and regenerative supply chains, with implications for both theory and practice.Pubblicazioni consigliate
