Abstract
This paper illustrates how the synergy between supramolecular chemistry and photochemistry opens up new perspectives in the applications of functional and adaptive materials. The self-assembly of organic monomers and metal ions enables preparation of metallopolymers with unique characteristics and properties. By using this simple strategy, it is possible to generate self-repairing soft materials that can respond reversibly to an external stimulus such as light.File in questo prodotto:
