The Transitions project aims to support young people in Trentino, South Tyrol, and Tyrol as they navigate educational and career transitions. The project combines research and intervention: research, which examines the transition processes between school, university, and work among young people of different age groups across Trentino, South Tyrol and Tyrol, and intervention, which involves developing an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tool to support young people in Trentino, South Tyrol and Tyrol as they navigate their educational and career transitions. At the core of the ICT tool there are real-life experiences gathered through in-depth interviews with young people facing career transitions. The aim of the present contribution is, first, giving an account of the theoretical framework of our project, second, offering a preliminary glimpse on the themes deemed relevant within the interviews collected and third explaining the functioning of the ICT orientation platform.
