Abstract
This article analyses the original economic vision of Edward O’Boyle, one of the scholars who significantly contributed to the history of the Association for Social Economy. After the examination of the anthropological presuppositions of personalist economics, we identify its peculiar theoretical elements and finally we point out its specific applied policies. This economic thought could not be considered as scientific because of its methodology, which is not endowed of formalisation. On the contrary, this approach, which emphasises the motivations of human actions, tends to really flourish the human dignity of every person and all people.Pubblicazioni consigliate
