Mobility And Mobilization of Capital On The Career Trajectories Of The Children Of Chinese Immigrants In Italy

Many scholars have made outstanding contributions to the research about Chinese immigrants in Italy in the past twenty years; there is still much room to explore the conditions of their children, especially on the topic related to work. The current research aims to investigate how the children of Chinese immigrants in Italy mobilize social, cultural, economic, and symbolic capital during their career trajectories and how their intersectional identities influence their strategies of capital mobilization and career trajectories. Through exploring the mechanisms and internal logic of the interrelationships and interactions among various forms of capital in the context of immigrants, the current research aims to make a contribution to the existing theory related to the capital concept.
