È di Rufino la traduzione latina dell’Epistula Clementis ad Iacobum (CPL, 198)?

Abstract

The A. assumes that the Latin version of the Epistula Clementis ad Iacobum is not the one that Rufinus prepared some time before his translation of the ps. clementine Recognitiones (406/7); the method of translation, the lexicon, and the style seem very distant from the usual practice of the writer from Aquileia. Given the circulation and reception in the Gallic area from just before the middle of the fifth century, the anonymous translator will probably be sought in that area.
