The Agenda 2030 adopts 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to be achieved in the next decade. Universities are institutions with a strong economic, environmental and social impact on society. To coordinate and share the commitment to the SDGs, initiatives have been created by many universities. Also, there are rankings that measure the sustainability of universities. The comparison of the SDGs with the topics developed by the initiatives and indicators in the rankings made it possible to verify the universities' commitment to supporting sustainable development. The results demonstrate a high focus on environmental goals, while economic and social aspects are insufficiently considered.

Abstract
The Agenda 2030 adopts 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to be achieved in the next decade. Universities are institutions with a strong economic, environmental and social impact on society. To coordinate and share the commitment to the SDGs, initiatives have been created by many universities. Also, there are rankings that measure the sustainability of universities. The comparison of the SDGs with the topics developed by the initiatives and indicators in the rankings made it possible to verify the universities' commitment to supporting sustainable development. The results demonstrate a high focus on environmental goals, while economic and social aspects are insufficiently considered.Pubblicazioni consigliate
