Exploring Immersive Tourism: Insights From Padova's Tourism Managers

As technology and smart solutions become more integrated into cultural destinations, there is a unique opportunity to enhance how tourists experience these places. In this regard, we need to understand how these technologies affect tourists; our research seeks to delve into the perceptions of tourism experts within the Padova destination concerning immersive experiences. We aim to gain insights through a series of interviews. Our findings indicate a notable interest among these professionals in harnessing advanced technologies to enhance the tourist experience. Toward the conclusion of this study, we will present a set of recommendations based on these insights.
