Abstract

In this paper, we investigate a gold nano-grating on a curved cylindrical surface. Numerical simulations are performed by the finite difference time domain (FDTD) method to study the effect of the surface curvature on the transmittance spectra of the grating. A segmentation-based approximation technique is proposed to resolve the surface curvature.
