“Note in musica. Un antropologo alla radio”

Notes in Music. An anthropologist on the radio. ‘Community radios’ have been a peculiarity of the Italian social environment, from the 1970s until today. This is a very interesting phenomenon from an anthropological point of view, which I was able to observe from the inside, having worked for years in a community radio station, Sherwood Radio, hosting a broadcast, entitled: Notes in Music. Lands, Peoples, Music. From this starting point, with a social anthropological approach, I tried to reconstruct the relationship between social context and the development of community radio stations, linking their success to youth protest movements and the alternative, noncommercial music they offered.
