I borghi storici nelle politiche del PNRR: due casi studio a confronto

Although the studies and place-based policies on local development in recent years have tried to promote a change of course in the design of public policies for local development, line A of the Borghi tender foreseen by PNRR, which provides for the financing of a single project by region and autonomous province, re-proposes an approach that does not seem to adequately take into account the innovations brought about by local development policies, especially those for inland areas and small municipalities, which rather focus on integration and social cohesion, including inter-municipalities. The essay proposes an analysis of two winning case studies for line A, Recoaro Terme (Veneto) and Palù del Fersina (Trentino), to focus on significant differences on the co-design methods of the two pilot projects and propose some conclusions, highlighting various critical issues of the public policy at national level.
