L'officina gozziana: dal testo alla scena. Nuovi studi sulle "Fiabe"

The present thesis/doctoral dissertation is offering many interesting points of analysis. It is divided into three sections: a philological section, an exegetic one and a third section treating more with scenic aspects. The work offers first of all a general view of Carlo Gozzi’s handwritten tales, which can be found in considerable quantity into the Autobiographic Fund, discovered some years ago by Fabio Soldini and become consequently subject of study only recently. The study of the writer’s manuscripts has allowed us to reconstruct with larger/greater precision his modus operandi. As a matter of fact, before this discovery the writer’s modus operandi had been reconstructed only by means of suppositions and of very few fragmentized autographic documents, which could be found in the Marciana National Library.

La tesi, composta da tre sezioni, una filologica, una di natura esegetica e una di carattere scenico, presenta diversi motivi di interesse. Innanzitutto, il lavoro offre una panoramica sulle carte manoscritte relative alle fiabe di Carlo Gozzi, contenute nel cospicuo Fondo autografo scoperto in anni recenti da Fabio Soldini e incominciato a studiare da poco tempo. Lo studio dei manoscritti ha permesso di ricostruire con maggiore esattezza il modus operandi dello scrittore che fino ad ora era stato ricostruito solo per frammenti e congetture, potendosi basare sui pochi autografi posseduti dalla Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana.
