This research starts from the contribution by the World Health Organization (WHO) stating that "psychological pathologies" (such as major depression, anxiety, panic attacks, post-traumatic stress disorder, eating disorders) are prevalent among women in both the general and Health Services populations. The present work, therefore, is set within the literature that has so far highlighted: (1) the existence of factors that would determine health and disease for men and women, as well as gender differences with respect to these factors and (2) the arrangement of theoretical proposals, treatment and operational tools according to the concepts of prevention, diagnosis and/or therapy. To observe the so-called gender differences, we have considered the users who 20/10/2019 to a public service for the management of situations configured as "emergency"/"crisis"-the inOltre Service of the Veneto Region-for the period from 30/09/18 to 30/09/19. The data collected and observed were then used to reflect-from a health perspective-on the type of interventions that psychologists can provide and, more generally, on the management of Services in the field of public health.

Abstract
The data collected and observed were then used to reflect-from a health perspective-on the type of interventions that psychologists can provide and, more generally, on the management of Services in the field of public health.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
