Large acetabular pelvic bone defects are frequently observed in the revision surgery of hip arthroplasty and in musculoskeletal oncology, representing a challenge in the reconstructive surgery. Three-dimensional (3D) printing is an emerging technology that have been attempted to improve the management of these patients. This chapter will focus on the principles, concepts and applications of 3D-printed technology, to report the state of the art and Author experience on this specific topic.
