The present study was designed to investigate the biological properties of methanolic extracts of leaves and seeds from Vitex rivularis. Leaves and seeds extracts were prepared by maceration in methanol. Phytochemical analysis was performed by colorimetric method, chemical reaction method and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The broth microdilution method was used to evaluate the in vitro activity against three strains of Candida albicans and 17 isolates of two yeast species (Candida sp. and Cryptococcus neoformans).

Abstract
The present study was designed to investigate the biological properties of methanolic extracts of leaves and seeds from Vitex rivularis. Leaves and seeds extracts were prepared by maceration in methanol. Phytochemical analysis was performed by colorimetric method, chemical reaction method and high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The broth microdilution method was used to evaluate the in vitro activity against three strains of Candida albicans and 17 isolates of two yeast species (Candida sp. and Cryptococcus neoformans).File in questo prodotto:
