Thinking about life means for Hegel to think about a being that cannot be considered from an ontology of substance and presence, according to which something is there, or is real, only if it is given in the form of presence, and therefore only if it is given as an object that stands in front of a subject. I will proceed in this way. I will first try to show in what sense and why the concept of life becomes a fundamental issue for post-Kantian thought (1). I will then focus on the critical function that the concept of life represents for this horizon of thought (2). I will then move on to analyze the transition from an idea that sees life as the inconceivable par excellence to that which in order to be conceived implies according to Hegel a true metamorphosis of thought (3). From this I will then focus on the relationship between logic and life (4) and the peculiar negativity that is embedded in the concept of life (5). In the end, I will attempt to draw some general conclusions about the relationship between life and thought in Hegel (6)

Abstract
In the end, I will attempt to draw some general conclusions about the relationship between life and thought in Hegel (6)File | Dimensione | Formato | |
