The present paper refers to a recent research about a crucial issue for lifelong guidance: the ethical dimension of work as perceived by adolescents from a pedagogical perspective. The focus is on their professional aspirations in relation to adult models, with the aim of highlighting some implications with regard to guidance at school, which takes into account the indications offered by international recommendations on key competences for lifelong learning.
