Two vineyards were chosen as a study area to analyse the relation between the spectral sensor measurements and grape quality. Both fields were investigated through an active spectral sensor to retrieve the NDVI. Results were related to total soluble solid, pH, titratable acidity and yeast assimilable nitrogen measured on grape samples. The results showed a good correlation (r=0.74) between quality data and NDVI at veraison, and lower correlation (r=0.64) between quality and NDVI in late ripening. According to this study a proximal sensor can be attached to a running vehicle to rapidly assess grape quality before harvesting in white grape variety.

Abstract
Two vineyards were chosen as a study area to analyse the relation between the spectral sensor measurements and grape quality. Both fields were investigated through an active spectral sensor to retrieve the NDVI. Results were related to total soluble solid, pH, titratable acidity and yeast assimilable nitrogen measured on grape samples. The results showed a good correlation (r=0.74) between quality data and NDVI at veraison, and lower correlation (r=0.64) between quality and NDVI in late ripening. According to this study a proximal sensor can be attached to a running vehicle to rapidly assess grape quality before harvesting in white grape variety.Pubblicazioni consigliate
