EpistEur is a research project of the university of Padua concerning the inventory and study of the correspondence between Italy and Europe in the 18th century. Early data confirm the expectations of the fertility and extension of the research field and improvement of the knowledge of international relationships, diplomatic history, circulation of books, cultural exchange and the history of epistolography. EpistEur wants to contribute to redesigning the emergence of the idea of Europe in the 18th century.
