This paper illustrates a teaching methodology which implements the motivational mechanics of games at school to help to overcome the widespread lack of interest of students and make learning engaging. We highlight how this approach fulfils learning process changes prompted by new media in young generations and how to productively harmonize them in everyday teaching, also promoting the overcoming of cultural and linguistic barriers. At last we outline a teacher’s training path designed to introduce the new approach and a quantitative analysis survey intended to verify its effectiveness.
