Referring to a research project about “second generation” parents, this contribution aims to highlight how focusing the pedagogical attention on intercultural mediation strategies, made by parents of non-italian origin with teenage children, may indicates possible runs of reflection and action, useful to transform the welcome in real reciprocal integration process, beginning from parenthood that lives into the city.
