Abstract
Tombs, cemeteries and funerary inscriptions represent useful ‘tools’ to understand the Roman organization of rural territories according to their topographical relation with limites of centuriation. This contribution shows a proposal for the study and the reconstruction of centuriation based on the position of funerary records and developed through spatial and statistical analyses. Two examples from Trentino - Alto Adige region (Italy) are discussed: the well-known centuriation of Basso Sarca (province of Trento) and the supposed land division in Oltradige (province of Bolzano).File in questo prodotto:
