Spiritualità incorporate e percorsi di soggettività

An increasing number of women are following, everywhere on the world, body-mind practices, in which they assert to find resources for a path of subjectivation. From a qualitative research with women (and men) involved in disciplines like Yoga, I can argue that their concern means a way to generate space and contents for an agency sustained on its own spiritual being. This outcome confirms the relation between practices inspired to eastern ancient spiritual traditions - involving the interconnection between body-mind and contexts of daily-life - and the notion of contemporary spirituality, and specifically that one of subjective-life spirituality. For women, specifically, the enhancement of embedded spirituality is a starting point for own agency, allowing to recognize the value and soul of a part of self, mortified in religious tradition. A turning point, necessary for the reconstruction of subjectivity and self-determined life, which has to do with states of consciousness, emotions, sensations, feelings, power, ethos and intersubjective relations.
