The excavation allowed to specify and increase the knowledge of the middle empire sanctuary and also to observe an articulated stratigraphic sequence ranging from the archaic levels to the late antique ones. The results of the research will soon be published in the series «Scavi di Nora»; furthermore, the University has started a conservation and promotion project aimed to restore all the middle empire structures; the use of gravels with different colours will have three specific targets: the preservation of the monument, the recognition of the function of different areas and a better understanding of the whole complex.
