The poster highlights the results of an on-line survey on the perception of gender culture in Academia that took place at the University of Padua in 2014.The main purpose of the survey was to measure the perception and the level of awareness on gender differences in assessments, in careers, in the decision-making and in apical positions among the UNIPD academic staff. Some results are about the prevalence of non-awareness of the problem among men and the believe (among men more than women) that "merit" is the basis on which people are treated. In conclusion the survey demonstrates how men's perception of a "gender issue" in Academia is quite completely absent.

Abstract
The poster highlights the results of an on-line survey on the perception of gender culture in Academia that took place at the University of Padua in 2014.The main purpose of the survey was to measure the perception and the level of awareness on gender differences in assessments, in careers, in the decision-making and in apical positions among the UNIPD academic staff. Some results are about the prevalence of non-awareness of the problem among men and the believe (among men more than women) that "merit" is the basis on which people are treated. In conclusion the survey demonstrates how men's perception of a "gender issue" in Academia is quite completely absent.Pubblicazioni consigliate
