In this chapter the results of an experimental investigation oriented to the analysis of the fatigue response and the damage evolution in twill 2x2 carbon/epoxy laminates is presented. The influence of design parameters like the stacking sequence, the presence of central holes and type of loading on the damage mechanisms and their evolution is analysed at macroscopic as well as at microscopic level. Different damage evolutions were observed depending on the lay-up and type of loading, whereas similar mechanisms were identified varying the hole size.
