Abstract
Nowadays, especially in the developing countries, there are still regions not reached by the electrical network. In several cases, electrification of these remote areas is not feasible due to high costs of necessary electrical infrastructures. Thus, the development of electrical power generation systems by low cost technologies remains a great challenge. The paper presents an innovative control strategy for permanent magnets synchronous generators able to work in islanded mode by fully exploiting the variable speed operation potentialities. The performances of the proposed control strategy are simulated and the most relevant results are reported.Pubblicazioni consigliate
