Abstract

A brief outline of the currently employed physico-chemical techniques for the characterization of the macromolecular structure of microporous polymer supports in the swollen state is presented. An accurate knowledge of the macromolecular structure and its correlations with molecular accessibility is necessary for a rational exploitation of these materials in a variety of interesting applications.
