Procreation is a fenomenon voicing opinion, especially when it is meant as product of a technological and scientific progress. Many issues raised by the application. It is important that press and Tv provide correct and exact information and use objective language avoiding alarmism and fake hopes. Findings research on five national newspapers (La repubblica, corriere della sera and Il Secolo d'Italia) are presented in this paper. Titles and their positions have been analysed as well as the valuation of the PMA given by the different newspapers on the basis of their ideological position. It was therefore essential to identified the thematic topics around which the image of PMA is constructed (application of the frequencies analysis and the cluster analysis) and verify whether and to what extent the different newspapers transmit differentiated images of PMA (application of Simple Correspondences Analysis). From the findings it has emerged that the information, through the press, focused on some thematic defined by need of individuals (desire and right to parenthood) and by a lack of norms and guidlines conductive to the problem of the maternity reification.

Abstract
From the findings it has emerged that the information, through the press, focused on some thematic defined by need of individuals (desire and right to parenthood) and by a lack of norms and guidlines conductive to the problem of the maternity reification.Pubblicazioni consigliate
