This paper deals with a fractional-slot permanent magnet motor with a dual winding supplied by two parallel converters, so as to increase the drive fault-tolerance. In the event of fault, one of the two three-phase windings is disconnected and the motor is operated feeding the healthy winding only.

Abstract
