Cross sections for Coulomb dissociation of the halo nucleus He-6 are consistently calculated with a three-body model for both bound state and continuum states and successfully compared with experiment. A semiclassical description is used for the excitation process, and the sensitivity to the model parameters is explored. Predictions are given for a wide range of beam energies and targets.

Abstract
